HoopScoop uses account-based access and team-scoped permissions to keep beta team sites available only to the people invited to them.
Invite-based access
Team sites are shared by invite. Account access, team membership, and role-aware checks control who can view team information.
Authentication
Login, signup, email confirmation, and invitation flows run through the authenticated product app rather than the public marketing site.
Server-side checks
Administrative actions and data writes use server-side checks before product data changes are accepted.
Limited team access
HoopScoop is designed so users see the teams they are allowed to access, not every team using the product.
Infrastructure providers
HoopScoop uses established cloud services for hosting, authentication, database storage, email delivery, and video integrations.
Conservative claims
HoopScoop does not currently claim third-party security certifications, compliance audits, or guaranteed availability.
Incident reports
If you believe you found a security issue, contact privacy@hoopscoop.ai with the details needed to investigate.
Beta practices
Security practices may change as the product matures, but public claims should continue to reflect current implemented behavior.
